Beautifully presented and intuitively designed, Blocs Wave is an engaging tool for making music. Using simple taps, you can add sounds from a number of genres, and many more are available through In-App Purchases. You can also create unique sounds by manipulating waveforms with your fingertips (which looks as cool as it sounds) and record your own using your device’s microphone.
Go together like a horse & carriage!
Have been playing with BlocsWave for 2 years now and absolutely love this app which inspires me to find the sounds I need to express my musical ideas and then to arrange them in patterns that I can then play live with your Launchpad music app... each app can stand alone but put them together and the real magic happens ...each app offers different sound packs but all purchases can be accessed on BlocsWave app to create your songs then uploads to Launchpad for easy live play and recording ...they go together like a horse & carriage ...which makes for a wild fun ride!
App needs major overhaul and Effects features
After numerous emails and discussions with staff about how although App is brilliant and easy to use in creating songs than the other 2 Apps , Launchpad and Groovebox, it would get 5 stars but lack of effects it only gets 1 star . For creative people that is a major let down and if any App deserves effects like the previous mentioned Apps have , this App should least have that quality effects if not better and the lack of updates , changes is just not right.
Mind you a Desktop version would help also and perhaps adding all effects would make this App the best one of the bunch if not in the App Store to create music. And to not have recording in the this App only microphone is just lazy and should be corrected as soon as possible . Also after a few issues I have asked to be sorted out , there is another in when import one of my songs, seems that when imported to Launchpad , a percussion sound is not playing in corr3ct timing as in Blockwave, regardless if erase or import again or shut down apps and start again, issue not resolved.
Please, Please! Fix this and give Blockwave the eff3cts and recording this App deserves and needs to be the best App to be creative beast it should be on here and perhaps even give it a Desktop version .
