Amazing! But I need more
This is the most intuitive easy to use mobile music making app on the market. There are only three things that stops this from being the ultimate mobile sketch pad.
1. Export to midi - the rhythms and compose mode, coupled with the awesome swing/groove settings are so much fun and easy to use it’s an absolute shame you can’t spit out midi to import into a DAW.
2. Sound Packs - the in built sounds are highly useable and with a little bit of tweaking can be very very good. But it’s a shame that you cannot purchase additional sound packs. It seems the obvious add-on and commercially could work right nicely for propellerhead. I’d splurge on new sounds in a heartbeat if the option was available.
3. Pattern mode - to sequence simple pattern changes. Part of the beauty of this app is it’s simplicity. So I wouldn’t want to introduce too much complexity. But man once you have a nice groove created it would be nice to create a simple arrangement with some patterns and scenes.
Please, please, please let us see these features in coming releases. But regardless, this is a killer app. And maybe the best sequencer I’ve come across in any form.

Best interface for writing music whilst travelling
I have used Figure since 2012 and thousands of tracks later, I am still impressed by the simplicity and brilliant execution of its design. Figure is to mobile music composition what Ableton’s session view is to DAWs. I hope this never gets obsolete or outmoded. 10 years on and I’m still finding new ways to twist that limited set of sounds to do amazing things. I wish there was an easy way to export all songs at once for 8 repeats each and to export MIDI. I’d also love for there to be a hardcore Figure enthusiasts community. Reminds me of the tracker days.
Just excellent
Been using Figure on and off since it came out and it never disappoints. One of the most intuitive, simple, and fun ways to make beats on iOS. Sure there are a lot of things they could add or change, but I’m happy it’s still the same instantly enjoyable mobile music making apps after all these years. Thank you so much to everyone at Propellerhead. Reason got me hooked on electronic production as a teenager and well into my thirties. You folks rule.
