When Printing its very light black

Hello.
How can configure the printer to print in a darker black.
The receipts are not visible enough, since the update of the software

Tap and chip

We continually loose connection at our Farmers Markets. It’s so frustrating and stressful. I’m looking to another solution. We’ve lost a lot of sales.

Hi 2Jsys, thank you for providing this feedback. Please try resetting your Shopify POS app by navigating to your iOS settings > Shopify POS > toggle the Reset Account switch. Then force-close the app on your device and re-open it. Ensure that you record your Saved Carts (if applicable) prior to following these steps, and that you have your Shopify login credentials ready, as this process will log you out. Should you continue to experience disconnections after completing the reset, please reach out to our Support team via shopify.com/contact and we'd be happy to assist you with troubleshooting.

No Moneris Integration and no pin option

After promising to continue the integration of Moneris, Shopify has now elected to force payments through their system as Moneris is no longer supported.

Also, with no pin pad option we are now forced to have our customers enter their pin on the iPad screen. Customers do not like this as their pin is visible to others in the line and it is not covid safe.

Hi blacktoemike, thanks for passing on this feedback. In regards to your customers security concerns SPoC technology prevents card data from being breached our seen by the next buyer - we've taken every precaution required to ensure that what gets entered by the card holder remains secure. We no longer support integrated Moneris readers however you can continue to use your reader by setting it up as custom payment method. You will want to contact your Moneris representative to request a new terminal. Your workflow will change slightly when processing orders, please check out this guide for more info or contact our support team: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/sell-in-person/shopify-pos/payment-management/credit-card-payments#external-card-reader.
