Current subscription price starts at $0.99 USD/month, and one-month, 6-month (USD 5.49) and 12-month (USD 9.99) packages are available.

The duration and price of each subscription will be displayed in the app at the time of purchase.
The payment amount will be settled with the purchase confirmation via your the iTunes account.
Subscriptions are automatically renewed unless auto-renewal is disabled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.

An sich super, aber…
Leider funktioniert die Such-Funktion seit einer Weile nicht mehr. Man kann Apps noch immer direkt aus dem AppStore an die Beobachtenliste schicken, aber bequemer wäre eine funktionierende Suche. Ebenso kann man Apps leider nicht mehr als „gekauft“ markieren. Das war aber nur ein nettes Zusatzfeature und nicht so essentiell wie die Suchfunktion. Es wäre schön wenn der Fehler wieder behoben werden könnte.
Bis dahin war und ist es eine gute App, die sehr schön die Preisschwankungen im AppStore dokumentiert, so dass man echte Schnāppchen auch wirklich erkennen konnte und durch die ich über Jahre gutes Geld sparen konnte.
Die häufige Kritik mancher User wegen Werbung und IAP kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, da die App seit Jahren entwickelt und aktualisiert wird und doch wohl klar ist, dass das auch irgendwie finanziert werden muss.
Neue Newsdarstellung nervt nicht mehr
Insgesamt eine gute App. Mit der Werbung wird eben die Dienstleistung finanziert. Ich frage mich immer, ob die Leute, die darüber meckern, auch nur einmal Gehalt bekommen und dann immer weiter arbeiten. Wobei ich die Popupwerbung auch schon recht aufdringlich finde. Anzeigen oben links und in der Liste sollten doch ausreichen, oder?
In der neuen Version finde ich allerdings die Newsdarstellung extrem nervig. Was sollen die Riesenfotos? Früher konnte man auf einen Blick 4-5 Headlines sehen und sich die interessanten dann direkt ansehen. Jetzt passt nur noch eine News auf den Bildschirm und man muss seitenweise runterscrollen und zwischen den Riesenbildern den Text finden. Die Bilder bringen dabei null Informationsgehalt und reichen im eigentlichen Artikel völlig aus.
Und wurden erfreulicherweise gleich mit dem nächsten Update wieder auf eine vernünftige Darstellung geändert.
Benutze ich seit Jahren
Es gibt keine Alternativen mehr. Alles was irgendwann mal Angebote aus dem AppStore angezeigt ist verschwunden. Das hier ist die letzte App/Webseite die noch gepflegt wird. Benutze es seit meinem 1. iPad. Läuft bei mir bis zum iPhone 6s Plus. Es dauert immer eine Weile bis die Icons für die Apps/die Werbung geladen ist. Aber irgendwie muss sich das ganze finanzieren. Habe schon viele tolle Apps gefunden, die ich sonst nie gesehen hätte. Deswegen volle 5 Sterne. Inklusive iPad Pro 12,9 Zoll Support.
