The itour City Guide App has been specially developed to discover cities in a very individual and unique way. Find all the sights of a city effortlessly – thanks to GPS and an integrated offline city map.
You can explore a city on foot, or simply sit on a sunny park bench and listen to all the content in a relaxed manner – depending on your mood. The order is also entirely up to you – everyone can follow their own individual interests. All you need is your iPhone!

Wirklich sehr gut!
Solche Audioguides gibt es ja einige und wir haben damit sehr durchwachsene Erfahrungen gemacht. Diesen hier können wir empfehlen. Die Texte sind gut gesprochen (zumindest bei Heidelberg 2 Personen im Dialog) und die Informationen sind sehr interessant und fundiert. Basel, Bingen, Jena (Thema), Kempten und Potsdam sind kostenlos, Heidelberg haben wir zugekauft. Leider ist die Auswahl an Städten noch sehr begrenzt.
Eine runde Sache!
Ich habe gen Görlitz Stadtführer ausprobiert und es hat Spaß gemacht mit dem Guide durch die Gegend zu laufen.
Der Stadtführer ist auf hohem Niveau produziert und man merkt die Qualität der Sprecher sowie der Produktion.
Beim nächsten Städte-Trip werde ich mir wieder einen Guide von dieser App runterladen.
Bamberg nicht so gut
Die App an sich finde ich hervorragend. Es ist eine tolle Idee, geführte Stadtrundgänge im eigenen Tempo zu machen. Mit einem Stern bewertet habe ich die Audios für Bamberg. Von denen bin ich etwas enttäuscht: Eine Weltkulturerbe-Stadt hat mehr geschichtliches zu bieten als E.T.A Hoffmann, der sowieso nur fünf Jahre hier wohnte und zudem die Stadt hasste. Er nimmt ca. 50% der Audios ein. Da gibt es doch noch so viel anderes.
