Ein solider Reader mit Verbesserungspotential
Mir gefällt Apple Books recht gut. Mein Ziel ist sowieso, mit so wenig wie möglichen Fremdanbieter-Apps wie möglich zu arbeiten. Das, was sie kann, macht sie gut. Zum Beispiel gefällt mir, dass sie den Split-Screen-Modus unterstützt. Ein paar Dinge wünsche ich mir jedoch noch: 1. Wenn ich einen Abschnitt farbig markiere, würde ich gerne innerhalb dieses Abschnitts weitere Markierungen machen können, z.B. einzelne Worte mit einer anderen Farbe markieren oder unterstreichen. 2. Gerne hätte ich es, wenn man die markierten Abschnitte z.B. in die Apple Notizen exportieren könnte. Das würde es sehr vereinfachen, von einem Buch ein Exzerpt zu erstellen. 3. Wenn ich mein iPad im Querformat nutze, geht der Reader in eine zweispaltige Ansicht. Gut wäre es, wenn hier auch eine einspaltige Ansicht gewählt werden könnte. 4. Gerne würde ich mit meinem Apple Pencil handschriftlich in meinen E-Books Einträge verfassen können, z.B. Wörter einkringeln oder Zeichnungen einfügen. 5. Gut wäre es, wenn Notizen, die ich über die entsprechende Option verfasse, als PopUp aufgerufen werden könnten.
Schöne Seitenanimation nun weg (Edit: Sie ist wieder daaaa!)
Seitenanimation ist nun leider weg. Und ersetzt durch was? Richtig, Karten auf einem Stapel, als würde ich Karten spielen. Und dabei habe ich mich gefreut ein Buch zu lesen und nicht erinnert zu werden warum ich Kartenspiele nicht mag. Das tut aber nichts zur Sache. Im ernst ich fand die Seitenanimation hat das digitale Lesen einen flair von etwas Echten gegeben, was nun fehlt. Nun fühlt es sich digitaler und generischer an als davor. Damit macht lesen für mich leider kein Spaß, da es mich aus der Immersion nimmt. Egal, ich habe nun Kindle von Amazon mit einer schönen Seitenanimation entdeckt, welche vergleichbar zur alten Apple Animation ist. Also als Kunden habt ihr mich hier verloren bis die Animation zurück ist.
Edit: Die Animation ist wieder da! Einfach in den Einstellungen wählen und zurück ist sie.
Super App, habe keine Probleme
Ich finde die App gut und bei mir funktioniert sie ohne Probleme, auch auf einem alten iPad! Außerdem habe ich keine der Probleme, die hier viele anscheinend haben. Bei mir geht das Scrollen ohne Problem und es gibt auch keine Bucks. Ich finde die App übersichtlich.
Zudem ist es praktisch, dass wenn bereits einer in der Familie ein Buch gekauft hat, man es nicht nochmal kaufen muss.
