Gut aber mit kleine Schönheitsfehlern
Toll, endlich kann ich Fotos, Kontakte und Daten extern von meinem iPad sicher. Die Bedienung der App ist aber nicht sehr intuitiv und es fehlt schlichtweg der Zurückbutton, wenn man mal ein Foto kopiert hat. Da hilft dann nur, raus aus der App und neu öffnen.
Probleme beim Löschen der Cache-Daten
Schaut man sich die Speicherbelegung der App an sieht man, dass diese nach kurzer Zeit einige 100 MB Speicher belegt. Dieser Speicher wird angeblich für Cache-Dateien verwendet. Versucht man den innerhalb der App unter dem Menüpunkt "Cache-Daten löschen" zu leeren, wird die App beendet und die Daten bleiben weiterhin erhalten d.h. der Speicherplatz bleibt weiterhin belegt. Dieser Fehler tritt auf dem iPhone 6 auf. Auf dem iPad 2 funktioniert diese Funktion einwandfrei. Auf beiden Geräten wird iOS 9.2.1 verwendet. Bitte überprüfen und gegebenenfalls Bug beheben. Ansonsten bin ich mit der App zufrieden.
Nach dem Update wieder ok
Es gab Probleme beim Start der App (Passworteingabe) die jetzt behoben sind. Ich habe schon viele USB-Sticks verschiedener Hersteller ausprobiert. Von der Funktion sind sie alle gleich. Sie unterscheiden sich hauptsächlich durch ihre Software. Hier muss ich sagen, das die Software von Photofast mit am besten ist. Ich würde mir nur nur noch das Ausblenden oder Anordnen der verschiedenen Applikationen innerhalb der App wünschen, um sie übersichtlicher zu machen. Ansonsten ist die App super. Das Bemängeln verschiedener Anwender bei USB-C (iPad Pro 2018) ist kein Versäumnis von Photofast, denn Apple blockiert hier die Schnittstelle und lässt nur ein Kopieren von Bildern und Videos aus einem Verzeichnis „DCIM“ zu.
