With the new update, the app needs refreshing immediately it’s opened to display the correct alarm status (not required in the previous version). As a result, I’ve set off the alarm as it appeared to be off. When I’d worked out the refresh requirement, I’ve found that unsettling the alarm seems to have happened when it hasn’t. I’ve set off the alarm three times so far as a result. On two occasions, I’ve physically unset the alarm. Once, the alarm condition showed on the app, preventing unset. I’ve had two occasions where the app shows an error message and failed to work. I didn’t have the forethought to screenshot, so I’ve no idea what they were. Overall, not very impressed by the updated version.

Update: Version 2.0.12 has fixed the issues I experienced, but another has been added! When logging in, the app only occasionally offers the option of fingerprint, mostly wants the PIN, which is not as convenient.

Maybe just me but when you set the alarm from the keypad the app doesn’t show which part is set. The old version had blue circle round the part that was set. Very handy when their are more than 1 person using the app. I’m a pro installer and will phone their regional tech support with the issue. Only noticed this today. This review doesn’t affect their products their equipment is up there with the best and will continue to use and install. Please sort this little issue out. Update For those who has the same problem as me with regards to alarm status on the app. You need to refresh the page. Example. When you open the app you see the padlock along with the setting Taps. Place your finger/thumb on the padlock and run your finger/thumb down the page. Will take a few seconds to refresh. Once it’s refreshed the status of the alarm is shown. You will need to to this every time you think the alarm is set/unset. It’s a little annoying but it does work. Maybe Eaton will update the app so this does this in real time.

Thank you for your feedback, we have released v2.0.7 which updates the panel status when you login. If you haven't already, we recommend updating your app to benefit from this improvement.

There’s a bug that I can’t seem to workaround. If you delete the app then reinstall it, when trying to pair the panel with the app again I have to use a different panel name to what I originally used.

For example, if it was originally “Home” I have to call it “Home2”, otherwise it says: “home has already define for one of your pairings”. As an aside, that’s not my typo, the English needs to be slightly corrected there to something like “home has already been defined…”

Another bug… since reinstalling the app today, the option for biometric login is greyed out.
