Excellent
This game is a dream. The graphics are colourful and slick. The frame rate is rock solid. The responsiveness of the controls is on par with the Cave shmups. I am not fully sold on the "purchase upgrades" aspect of gameplay as I like shmups to be much more pure in their mechanics, but this is a most minor quibble. I also appreciate the fact that you can play your own music (a feature that Cave has yet to include in their iOS games). Brilliant.
A stunning rival to Cave
Like its predecessor, Danmaku Ultimate 2 is a visually stunning bullet hell shooter with perfect, easy to learn controls and fearsome levels that are as challenging as expected (especially when set up to Extreme difficulty). While still not quite as hard as some of Cave's "Black Label" difficulty titles, it packs a punch and for the low price (at least compared to Cave titles) it's a bargain.
Great simple yet hard as nails shmup
If you love the shmup shooters especially by cave such as the donpachi series or bug princess or just classic shooting arcade style games then you'll love this, liked the lite version that much it left me wanting more and an original shmup too, highly recommend :-D
