Description

Originally released by LucasArts in 1995, Full Throttle is a classic graphic adventure game from industry legend Tim Schafer, telling the story of Ben Throttle; butt-kicking leader of biker gang the Polecats, who gets caught up in a tale of Motorcycles, Mayhem and Murder.

Now over 20 years later, Full Throttle is back in a remastered edition that features all new hand-drawn and 3D high-resolution artwork, and with remastered audio and music. Blow your speakers with movie-quality sound and a full digital score featuring the GONE JACKALS - an authentic hard-hammerin' biker band!

Players will be able to switch back and forth between classic and remastered modes, and mix-n-match audio and graphics options to their heart’s desire. Also included is a concept art browser with work from Peter Chan, and a commentary track with the game’s original creators.

Fun but please fix it!

Great old school fun but the controls are infuriating - specifically when playing on an iPhone and trying to leave scenes by pressing the arrow at the bottom, if you can actually press it!

Secondly the section in the mine road keeps crashing or at best blank screening for ages. You have to come out and go back in again to make it work

Kind of makes you wonder whether the guys who ported this have actually played it on an iPhone (8)

Fix it please folks.

Incredible

I think ppl forget this is a remastered port of an original game, even so it is simply magnificent. The graphics alone are superb, love that you can also choose pixel. I did have a similar situation in the mine battles but then realised the reason it was glitching was because I had missed a crucial part of the game out and was doing the mine battles too early after completing this first part the glitches stopped!! There are quite a few timed elements with touch precision needed which could be frustrating and I definitely couldn’t have finished without a good walkthrough but even still I very much enjoyed this excellent game.

No

I've loved every Double-fine/Lucasarts game since PC days, though I seemed to have missed this one when first released. Just finished it now, and... it's terrible. Few of the puzzles make sense; trial and error for them means watching the same "losing" cut sequence over and over again; you spend more time watching cut-sequences than playing. Without a walkthrough, there were several sections I would never have figured out, due to complete non-sequiturs (and I've almost never needed to do this on their other games). A real shame.
