Molte le “ricette” personalizzabili. Il limite ? La tua fantasia... Applicazione promossa a pieni voti!

LOGOUT inaspettato! Non mi fido più di IFTTT

Uso IFTTT da due anni per gestire Il sistema di allarme Somfy e le lampadine HUE. Utilizzandolo con Somfy va da sè che sono alla ricerca di un’applicazione affidabile per poter attivare automaticamente il mio allarme quando esco di casa e mi dimentico di farlo manualmente. Ieri, in occasione del mio quarto furto in tre anni che vivo nel mio appartamento ho scoperto che la regola impostata per attivare l’allarme Somfy non era stata eeguita. Apro l’app IFTTT per capirne il motivo e scopro di essere stato sloggato e di dover rifare l’accesso con le mie credenziali (di conseguenza la regola da me impostata per fare attivare automaticamente l’allarme non poteva essere eseguita).

Non potrò più sentirmi sereno a far gestire il mio allarme attraverso le regole impostate su IFTTT.

...ottima l’app, ottima l’idea, ottimo tutto ma seriamente pagare un abbonamento mensile (di importo vago ed indefinito ....$1.99 o $9.99???? fino a quando? ....come si sospende/interrompe?? etc etc etc) è a dir poco pretenzioso;
gratuita era al limite dell’utilizzabile con sconnessioni varie e tempi di risposta spesso molto molto (troppo) elevati .....ma a pagamento LOL;
le automazioni di HomeKit, già da tempo includendo l’opzione “if this AND this then that AND that”, rendono praticamente inutile qsta app relegandone lo scarso utilizzo ai soli accessori domotici nn compatibili con HomeKit .....ma se devo pagare per averla preferisco pagare per sostituire gli accessori con altri compatibili HomeKit affidandomi ad un servizio assolutamente affidabile fornito da APPLE senza neanche più dover condividere accessi e credenziali varie fuori dall’ecosistema Apple.
Inoltre, prima gratuita, poi a pagamento con limitazioni enormi (solo 3 app gratuite e prezzo incomprensibile di $9.99/mese equivalgono ad un bel calcio in faccia all’utilizzatore medio) e domani qle altro cambiamento?! bha
