Doesn’t work
This app doesn’t do anything. You sign in, spend ages setting stuff up, then ask it to do something like open Netflix and it replies “opening Netflix” and you sit there waiting in anticipation while it continues to display wallpaper pictures. What a waste of time. Whoever created this rubbish needs to be fired. Useless junk.
Doesn’t sync fully with iOS settings
Although I find the Google Home device and this app useful, and even fun, in a general sense, it annoys me that it ignores my iPad’s UK dictionary setting when asked for spellings.
For example, in the wider English-speaking world, “colour” is NOT spelled “color” and there is, of course, no such substance as “aluminum”! If my other iOS apps can make these distinctions, based on my language and dictionary settings, why can’t Google Home?
Still, at least the assistant ‘sounds’ like a well-educated English rose and not some Twinky-schooled mid-western lift attendant.
突然使用不可になった
ChromecastUltraが2台突然繋がらなくなり使用不可になりました。同じネットワーク内にiPhoneがある状態でも繋がらず複数のiPhoneから試すも使用不可。仕方なくChromecastを初期化するも何故か設定途中でエラーが起きて使えない。
Chromecastのリモコン付きの方も使用しているが、そちらは一応キャストできる。しかしYouTubeをキャストする時のみ音量が0から変更できず、変えようとするとセットアップを終わらせてくれとでるが、いくら試しても(iPhone側からは)設定を完了できない。
Chromecastの方では何もエラーなどは表示されない。TVerなどは問題なくキャスト出来ており、Googleホームのアプリから音量の設定ができないことなどからこのアプリの問題だと思います。
結果少しも使えないChromecastUltraと
自社サービスのはずのYouTubeがまともに使えないリモコン付きChromecastという状況、お粗末すぎる。一応サポートから言われたことを試したりルーターの設定を確認させられたりしたが、改善せず。これ以上やっても時間の無駄だしいつまで待っても改善されそうにないので、AmazonのFireTVStickに買い替えました。セール時に買えば値段もこっちのが安いし問題なく使えて設定も簡単なので。二度とGoogle製のアプリを使用する製品は買いません。
