iPhoneショートカット⇒IFTTT (webhook → add row to spreadsheet) の流れでwebhookを利用している。以前はGoogleスプレッドシートに自動で記録されていたのが、されなくなった。IFTTTレシピのcheck nowをタップするとすぐに記録されるが、2、3回記録されていることがある。 PRO版を契約してますが、無料ユーザーとの差別化をcheck nowの実行速度ではなく、webhookの実行速度にしてほしい。 それが難しいなら、webhookは1日1回までなら即実行されるとか、運用ルールを見直してほしい。
Dishonest pricing
I don’t hate IFTTT - it’s a very useful service for many smart home situations (and more) and works well for the most part, but I really don’t like the sneaky pricing/false advertising. I signed up for the pro service years ago and was promised one fixed monthly fee of USD 1.99 as long as I used the service. That was the pitch they used to get as many as possible onboard for the, then quite new, paid plan.
I haven’t been a very active user but I do have a few applets running and haven’t really had any major issues. Then, just the other day, I get an email saying that my monthly fee will double (!) starting in one week’s time (!). Of course I reached out to IFTTT to ask what was happening, and they got back to me fairly quickly. However, they would not change the price back to what was promised, explaining how they have done a lot of improvements on the service, that they are a small team working very hard on the product, etc.
I totally accept and understand that it takes a lot to develop a product - and this is a good product - but keeping your promise to the customer is what really counts at the end of the day, and I don’t see that IFTTT does.

指定できる条件が1つのみ、さらに最長2時間待たされるので、単純な条件で実行される重要度の低いタスクの処理に使えます。
例えば、私が夏に使った場合では
もし、部屋の温度が28度以上なら、冷房25度で運転
と指定した場合、部屋の温度は40度を超えていました。
例えば、
朝7時になったら、換気扇を稼働
とした場合、雷雨で湿度が70%を超えていたため、夏なのに部屋の結露がひどかったことがありました。
あくまで、1つのサービスからのトリガーであり、
実際に使える状態にするなら、その先は自前のアプリや自作マイコンで複数条件からの分岐タスクをそれぞれ処理する必要があるので、私の場合はそのように使っています。
多くのサービスが登録されており、マップからも使えるのでトリガーとしては秀逸です。
ただし条件として、最長1分ごとにトリガーがかかるようであれば、最低限の実用に耐えると感じます。
あくまで、ファッション、このようなことができると言う入門としては、このまま使えるのではないかと思います。
この状態ではタスクの自動化や、IoTとは程遠いものです。
