Description
Use AirPort Utility to manage your Wi-Fi network and AirPort base stations, including AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme, and AirPort Time Capsule — right from your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch. See a graphical overview of your Wi-Fi network and devices. Change base station and network settings, or manage advanced features such as security modes, wireless channels, IPv6 configuration, and more.
AirPort Utility works with all Apple 802.11n and 802.11ac Wi-Fi base stations, including AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme, and AirPort Time Capsule.

このアプリに限らずだが…
私の持っているAirMac Extremeの初代(802.11g)の設定が出来ません…
まだまだ使える製品なのに、Appleに切り捨てられたんです…
まあサポートされなくなった製品にどうこう言うつもりはありませんが
切り捨てるの…早く無いっすか…？
いちいちWindows付けて設定してます。(Macからは設定出来なくなってるのにWindowsではまだ設定できるって言うのが面白い)
公式アプリ
Airport持ってなくても動くには動くので、
時たま干渉波チェックで利用している。
機能は少ないが使い勝手は良いし、必要な情報は提供していると思う。
ただ問題点はAirportに特化し過ぎて他ベンダーと共存不可な上、汎用性が無いところ。
またシンプルな事は重要だけど、自分が要求する情報が足りて無い。
この使い勝手の良さはそのままに他ベンダーと共存出来て、必須な機能が追加されると良いかな？
リンクスピードの表示とか、電波到来方向が判ればどこと干渉しているのかとか直感的に判るんじゃ無かろうか？
ネットワークが見つかりません
iMacのOSも、iPhoneもシステムを最新のものにアップデートしたら、ネットが前よりもとても遅くなりました。
おかしいなと思って、このアプリで再起動などしたかったのですが、今度はネットワークが見つかりませんと⚠️がでます。
ネットには辛うじてつかなってるのですが、最近のアップルはなんだか90年代に逆戻りしたかのようにエラー頻発で懐かしいですが、不便でもありますね。。orz
