イベントフライヤーの製作等に使用してます。
まず、Canvaというツール自体は、その分かりやすさから、初心者の方でもすぐに順応できる素晴らしいものです。
ただし、アプリ版については、残念ながら下記の通り複数の欠点があります。
もし「スマホでCanvaを使いたい」という方がいらっしゃれば、アプリ版ではなくSafari等からブラウザ版を使用することを強くオススメします。
【アプリ版の欠点】
・落ちやすい
・長時間使用していると操作が重くなる
(※スマホの再起動で解決、スマホのスペックの問題の可能性もあり)
・細かい位置調整に不向き
・「細い直線」など、一部の図形は、配置後にタップで再選択しても反映されづらく、操作性に難がある
・完成版をDLした際に、一部表示が欠けたり消えたりすることがある。
(※図形の細い直線などは、特にこの傾向が顕著)
・完成版をDLした際に、表示にズレが生じることがある
・デザイン上に配置した図形や画像のサイズが表示されない(※ブラウザ版は幅や高さの表示あり)
このように、かなりの問題点が見受けられます。
ただ、重ね重ねですが、ツール自体は素晴らしいため、アプリを使わずにブラウザ版を使うことを強く推奨します。
特に、細かい操作・複雑な操作が必要なデザインを製作する際は、アプリ版では非常にストレスフルな作業となってしまいます。
使うにしてもせいぜい下書き段階に留めるのが良いかと思います。
アプリ版の数少ない長所として、スマホに入ってる画像をすぐに貼れる点があります。(ブラウザ版だと一度アップロードする必要あり。数秒ですが)
ざっくりな下書きに使用する程度であれば、アプリ版を生かすことができるかもしれません。
