Years ago, Plants vs. Zombies defined a genre with its fresh concept, undeniable charm and innovative, balanced gameplay. Now the undead have risen again, bringing with them new time-travelling tales and a massive slew of new zombies and plants. Whether you stomp foes without spending any money or you buy new experimental plants and power-ups with In-App Purchases, the result is the same: an incredible sequel that's fresh and fun throughout, reminding us why we fell in love with this world in the first place.
前作を大幅に超える楽しさとボリューム、しかし…
1を一通りクリアして満足したので流れで移行したのですが、一気にプランツやサブコンテンツ要素が増え、楽しく飽きさせない作りになっています。
ボリュームが大幅に増えた分やや課金要素強めになっていますが、これだけの内容を完成させる労力とさらなる続編に向けたお布施という視点で鑑みると、妥当なものと思います。
しかし終盤戦に差し掛かる頃、メインコンテンツであるアドベンチャーの要所要所に理不尽とも言える供給プランツ固定ミッションがあり、攻略動画を見てもほぼ運任せの様な有様だったので、そこで行き詰まってからは触らなくなってしまいました。
どう見ても供給プランツの性能や量が押し寄せるゾンビ達の強さにも量にも見合っておらず、コインを大量消費してやっと3割方勝機が見出せるかどうかといったレベルのミッションです。
厄介なゾンビが沢山登場する場面こそ、せっかく獲得し育てた手持ちのプランツを思い切り活躍させる事が出来る仕様にして欲しかった。その方が中途半端な攻略で飽きさせず、より達成感や爽快感を得られていただろうなと非常に惜しい気持ちです。
Hate new changes
I loved Dark Ages and Far Future, just want to jump straight to unlock the maps after first map, now with new changes, I can’t do it anymore. Adding lots of ads is fine, I can just turn off the internet connection, but I consider the Ads Removal option. I’ve been playing PvZ2 since its beta. Now it’s just clunky and annoying.
Update: You will ask why plants from Wildwest and Frostbite’s positions have a gap, because after Wildwest was Far Future and the following is/was Dark Age! Yes it was supposed to let you choose which maps you wanted to play by giving keys after beating the big boss rounds. Those were developed by that arrangement. I guess because nobody liked those maps making after these two (Far Future and Dark Age) so they changed the positions and force people play like how EA wants to. It was a very good game.
