Visually impaired and wishing to enjoy film, television or theatre? Don't miss a single detail thanks to the audio description in Earcatch. Through your headphones a voice describes what is happening visually. You can use Earcatch in the cinema, in the theatre or at home on the couch.
Select the film, episode or show you want to watch and download the corresponding audio description. Put on your headphones and hit ‘play’ as soon as it begins. Earcatch ensures that the audio description is perfectly synchronised with what is happening.

Werkte tot de nieuwe update prima
Werkt meestal prima. Soms sluipt er een vertraging in en moet ik opnieuw opstarten. Sinds de nieuwste update kan ik de app niet meer gebruiken. Blijft in het tweede scherm van doorgaan hangen...(Bij het aanmaken van een account)
Fantastische app, maar pauzeert niet automatisch
Heerlijk om voor de beschrijving van wat er in beeld gebeurt, niet meer afhankelijk te zijn van ziende huisgenoten (die ik niet heb). Super om op deze manier films en tv-programma's te kunnen volgen. Wat ik wel jammer vind, is dat de audiodescriptie niet automatisch pauzeert op het moment dat het programma of de film stopt. Zo had ik voor het slapen gaan een tv-programma met audiodescriptie aangezet en is Earcatch de hele nacht blijven luisteren, waardoor bij het wakker worden de batterij van mijn telefoon leeg was. Is het niet in te bouwen dat de audiodescriptie automatisch pauzeert als het programma of de film dat doet of dat de audiodescriptie eenvoudig gestopt kan worden door dubbel te tikken met twee vingers?
Account aanmaken lukt al niet..
