Description
Safe through traffic with driving style feedback and no telephone distraction.
It can only be used in combination with a small device, the SafeDrivePod, that has to be mounted in your car (www.safedrivepod.com). The device monitors whether you're in the car and driving, when it is impossible to use the phone other than hands free calling. If you want to have for example Spotify, just start it before driving! In addition, the SafeDrivePod can measure how well you drive. If you brake hard, accelerate hard or tear through corners, your score will drop. It is a good way to become aware of your driving style and improve it if necessary.
The app has to be running on your phone at all times and Bluetooth Low Energy has to be enabled at all times. The battery cost of the app, however, is minimal and hardly noticeable. When the app is not used correctly, by e.g. turning off Bluetooth, so that you can still use your phone in the car, this is reported to the server, where it is shown in a dashboard to which your fleet manager, lease company or insurance company could have access (depending on your contract).

Bijhouden ritten en rijgedrag
Ik ben zeer te spreken over SafeDrivePod. Het is een geweldige tool om veiliger te rijden en afleiding tijdens het rijden te voorkomen. Wat ik vooral prettig vind aan deze app, is dat het statistieken bijhoudt over mijn rijgedrag en ritten die ik gemaakt heb.
De SafeDrivePod is gemakkelijk te koppelen aan een telefoon. De app detecteert automatisch wanneer ik aan het rijden en vergrendeld vervolgens mijn telefoon, zodat ik me volledig kan concentreren op het rijden.
Kortom is deze app een geweldige manier om je rijgedrag te verbeteren en veiliger te rijden!
