Instagram 12+

Hi, I am trying to update my instagram for MONTS by now to get the dms update and it just simply doesn't work, I tried everything I could, but it didn't work, I searched on the internet what to do if you can't get the "new" update and they said that I should probably log out and then back in from my acc, because it's like refreshing instagram and i did that but it didn't work, so i tried uninstalling and installing instagram back but it didn't work either! So if I may ask, what am I supposed to do, because nothing seems to work!? I was looking at the instagram app from the app store every single day to see if I can finally update it, but nothing. If you could possibly help me, I would appreciate it very much! I gave the app just 4 stars just because i am struggling to get the update from when it appeared cuz it was working. At first the app was great in the first years, then it got better and better, but then the last couple of years came. Now i have commercials, if i try and report actual disturbing content or comments i always get the message “we couldn’t delete this content because it doesn’t break the rules” but they keep banning my harmless memes based on some reports made by literal children (another problem is I always block and report children younger than 13 yrs old and I never see their account deleted based on my block list) and now whenever i try to show uninterested on a specific commercial it doesn’t dissapear like it used to like a week ago. It’s always there like I never opted for “not interested”. Why instagram? Just to shove your greasy hands into my pockets and take 84 lei a month? No thank you. I don’t have a problem with commercials, I get used with kids not having their account deleted, but why you keep shoving my throat the same commercial that i showed i am not interested? Just undo that update and let people not see that thing they said “it’s irrelevant”
