Great app but didn't transfer my purchase to a second device

We love the app but I have it on my phone and my daughters iPad. The full paid version is on her iPad but when I downloaded it for my phone it didn't transfer the purchase and is making me pay for the app again. That shouldn't happen

Great app but did not transfer the purchase

My son likes this app, and it definitely offers a good learning platform. However, I recently upgraded my phone and the in-app purchases did not pick this up. I emailed the support group and did not hear back. This should not be happening.
