Three things

Huge potential here! One thing I really like is that I can write plain note heads to sketch out ideas without having to commit to rythmic constraints in a given measure. Two issues though. First, the trainer is nowhere to be found. It’s not in the upper left hamburger menu. The other is the radial modifier for accidentals. It’s a bit slow-too many steps to change one note. What would be nice is if it could be left open when adding accidentals to multiple notes, or if multiple notes could be highlighted blue, then allowing all to be modified with a flat or sharp in one fell swoop.

App issues that need to be fixed.

As of this review I am waiting for an email reply about said issues listed below (which I sent last week).

Issues occur using an iPad, 7th Generation, OS 14.1 and an Apple Pencil, 1st Generation. Some new stuff (not on the email) has been added to the list.
1.) When using the Apple Pencil, I am unable to create the stems (quarter, 8th, 16th, etc). Only the dot of said notes/tones on the staff show. 8th rests, 16th rests, quarter rests, etc don’t get written down either. The “e-penciled” transcription is superimposed over the “e-print” as seen on the iPad screen.

2.) What is the question mark icon (?) used for when you tap on it? (I get a “Reload? There has been an error. Would you like to reload? (Yes/no?”)

3.) Is there a help page and/or “user manual” to make sure I’m using the app correctly or applying the pencil correctly?

4.) Can multi-voice transcription (layered notes typical in printed classical guitar sheet music on a single staff) be done on this app?

5.) Where is the save button to save said file?

Troubleshooting steps I did:

1.) downloaded most recent iPad OS system updates

2.) uninstalled Komp Create app then reinstall it (... three times actually)

Result:

1.) 8th notes, quarter notes, etc can now be done on the pencil.

2.) I’m still NOT able to do rests of either kind.

3.) Superimposed e-pencil & print version still appears on the iPad screen.

3.) The same prompt pops up when I tap the (“?”) button.

Love but transpose?

Note entry is fantastically easy and satisfying. But! I’d like to be able to quickly transpose either the entire piece or sections of it. I Know it’s possible to circle a bunch and drag. This is not what I need though. If you know a way that I’m just not aware of, please comment, it would make it a four star at least. Thanks!
