Decent device when it works. My biggest issue is that app does not log the history of plant data, despite previously having this ability. Why take this incredibly useful feature out?

Aside from that, the sensors themselves aren’t reliable and frequently lose connection with the app, requiring battery removal to reset—this is best done with a knife; not exactly user friendly or reliable.

Another issue is the inability to display multiple plants at once, or the ability to show temperature in Fahrenheit, despite this being an option.

I bought one and it didn’t work right out of the box. They sent me a replacement and it worked for 13 days. They sent me a second one. I’ve been using it for a week just fine but I do not know how long it will last. Another issue is that I have it for my large fiddle leaf tree and the sensors don’t go deep enough so it always thinks my plant is under watered. I pushed it much deeper to get a more accurate reading but that skews the light sensor to think it’s much darker than it is. The device needs to be longer so it can get an accurate moisture reading as well as light reading.

This app and the accompanying gadgets are so handy! They are super easy to use & full of tons of great info. I love the huge selection of plants & succulents to choose from.
I’m not really good with Bluetooth & electronic things. So, I was surprised that I was able to set mine up in no time at all. The soil detector has been in for a few weeks & it working beautifully. It connects & gives me a lot more than just the moisture content. It also records lighting LUX, fertilizer levels, and the temperature.

Plus, I can use the app to search for ‘how to care for additional plants’ any time I need. I have no idea why this device & app aren’t top selling items all over the world. They take the guesswork out of trying to keep my plants looking great, while maintaining a busy lifestyle.
